  I Ordered a 'paw Patrol' cake for my nephew's birthday, and the staff in the bakery were very nice. the employee was very efficient and helpful. He answered all of my questions. I'm happy to say I will use this Bakery more often.

  I have used this Publix for all three of my daughter's birthday cakes. This year I ordered 50 cupcakes and a small smash cake. I always have someone else pick the cake order up for me with no problems except for this year. They only gave her the cupcakes because they rang the orders up separately, which I still don't understand why. But if that is how it has to be done- fine. My order still should have been together since it was all ordered at the same time. When I realized the cake was missing I called and the woman in the bakery said, "It's here. You can come get it". At this point my daughter's 3rd birthday party is already happening. So I send a family member. She gets there to be told she cannot take the cake ($8.50) without paying. This is when we find out the order was rung up separately so the cake was not paid for with the cupcakes. My thoughts are 1. This is your fault that we don't have the cake 2. Just eat the $8.50 and give us the cake 3. A little kindness can go a long way. The lady in the bakery was rude, very unapologetic, and refused to give her the cake (so at this point I had an attitude as well). But I can say the store manger tried to rectify the situation and was very polite and professional, but by the time I was able to contact him my family member had already left the store. In the end, the cupcakes and cake looked great but were not very fresh. Several family members/close friends made negative comments on how shocked they were that the cake/cupcakes came from Publix based on the poor taste.
